Lofoten Ski Lodge
A new website that gives Lofoten Ski Lodge an identity of its own, separate from the guiding company that runs it.

The lodge didn't need more pages. It needed to stop looking like a page on someone else's site.
Overview
Lofoten Ski Lodge is Northern Alpine Guides' winter base in Kabelvåg, in Norway's Lofoten Islands. Base Camp built its first site in 2023. In 2026 it rebuilt the site as a premium, bilingual Webflow site centred on the Ski Week.
Outcome
Built and with the lodge for a final copy review, ready to replace the 2023 site at lofotenskilodge.com.

Challenge
Lofoten Ski Lodge is Northern Alpine Guides' winter base in Kabelvåg. Its first site, which Base Camp built in 2023, shared a template with the guiding company's, so the lodge read as a section of someone else's business rather than a place to book in its own right.
The brief was a premium site that ranks in search, presents the lodge as a product run by local experts, and gives every kind of guest a clear route to booking.

Role
- Site structure and product architecture.
- Webflow design and build, in English and Norwegian.
- A CMS of ten collections, including the Journal and the Ski & Sail journeys.
- A handbook and handover to the lodge team in September 2026.
One product, said plainly
The Ski Week leads, and its format reads the same on every page: seven nights, six guided ski days, February to May, from NOK 31 700. A single line, 'Guided by Northern Alpine Guides', carries the guides' credibility without merging the two brands.

Other ways into the mountains
The Signature Ski Retreat in Henningsvær, Tailor Made and Ski & Sail sit beside it as distinct options. Each has its own page and its own route to an enquiry.

A day shaped by the mountains
The site sells the day as much as the week: skin from the sea, ski to the shoreline, then the sauna and the long table.

The return matters
Then the lodge itself: traditional fishermen's cabins on the water in Kabelvåg, full board, and a sauna and jacuzzi to thaw out in.

Closer than it looks
Getting Here answers the question that can stop a booking before it starts. Four airports, then the last stretch along the coast to the lodge.
Written for search
The Journal answers what guests ask before they book: what ski touring here is really like, how to prepare, when to come. Each article is written to be found.
