George Bullard
A website and years of sponsorship storytelling for a record-breaking polar explorer.

Never stop believing.
Overview
George Bullard has covered more than 2,000 miles on foot in the polar regions. Base Camp built his Webflow site and, from 2019, the proposals and decks that turn his expeditions into partnerships.
Outcome
Live since 2022 and still hosted by Base Camp.

Challenge
An explorer’s work depends on partners and audiences. George needed one place for speaking, brand collaboration and his City Camping project, and a way of pitching expeditions to sponsors that matched their ambition.
His own line set the tone: “Never Stop Believing. Through the outdoors we can change lives.”

Role
- Website design and build in Webflow, with expedition, about, speaking and FAQ content.
- A City Camping deck and logo, 2019.
- The Dark Ice Project sponsorship proposal and one-pagers, 2019–20.
- A storytelling deck and outreach for The Ice Lands, with adidas TERREX, 2020.
- A City Camping production deck for Canada Goose, 2021.
- A presentation refresh for Sailing Around the UK, 2023.

Approach
The site opens on “World record-breaking explorer, endurance athlete & motivational speaker” and is built around four services: public speaking, digital marketing, activations and campaigns, and brand collaboration. Expeditions run from The Trudge of a Lifetime in 2008 to Question Greenland, a kayak crossing from Greenland to Scotland and Ice Road Trekkers.
Satoshi carries the type. The photography carries everything else.
