In short

One platform for a growing group.

Overview

Alma Risk is a UK-based security and risk consultancy working globally. Base Camp built its identity and website in 2024 and has grown the platform with it since: a multi-page restructure, a technical SEO overhaul and sister sites for the wider Alma group.

Outcome

The audit took the site’s critical errors to zero, and led to sites for the group’s sister businesses.

Alma Risk — Brand & Website

Challenge

Alma needed to look established from its first day and explain a broad service offer clearly, in a sector where clients expect discretion.

The first site was a single page. As the business grew, it had to become a platform that could carry capabilities, services and articles, and later a group of sister companies.

New York at dusk

Role

  • Visual identity and guidelines, 2024.
  • Webflow design and build.
  • An article system with share images for LinkedIn, 2025.
  • A restructure from one page to a full site: Method, Company, Team, and CMS-driven Capabilities and Services, 2025.
  • A technical SEO audit and fix: redirects, sitemap, metadata, structured data and an llms.txt file, 2026.
  • Call booking, analytics and consent moved into Google Tag Manager, 2026.
  • Print: a capability brochure, a private-client brochure, business cards and a proposal template.

Approach

The mark is a roundel: a sun with a mountain set into it in vertical lines. It sits on a near-black ground with a single green accent, and General Sans carries everything from headlines to reports.

The site is built around six capabilities, with services held in the CMS so the team can add and adjust them without a rebuild. An Alma Group menu links the sister businesses, each on its own site.

Identity

The palette in full.
